You must provide documents confirming your stable and official passive incomes. Don’t forget that salary is not a passive income!
Sources of passive income may include rent, interest on bank deposits, profits from investments in financial assets, shares, financial bills, income from entrepreneurial activities, pensions or life annuities.
The minimum required income is €2,580 per month for an individual applicant, i.e. approximately €31,000 per year.
Residenza Elettiva may also be issued to spouses, children and parents. However, the incomes must be higher and the property must be larger to ensure comfortable living conditions for all family members.
